Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital has been a country vet in the heart of Maryland for more than 40 years. Thanks to our wonderful clients we have grown to a five doctor practice with an experienced staff ready to cater to you and your beloved pet. We believe in preventive medicine and recommend annual exams to track your pet’s progress from the very first visit to the all important senior care.
Our services include vaccinations, protection from parasites such as heartworm, fleas and ticks, surgery, dentistry, pain management, spay and neuter, digital x-ray, dew-claw removal, tail docking, doggie day care, and grooming.
We do not practice cookie cutter medicine. Every pet is unique and special and treated as such.
Emergencies can happen at any time. When we are not available please rely on:

Employee of the Month
Congratulations to Mary Chrusciel on being the JVH Employee of the Month for March!
Mary has been nominated by her coworkers for being an outstanding member of our receptionist team. She has been with JVH since August of 2013, but has numerous years of experience in the animal field. Mary is always willing to give each client the extra time necessary to explain information regarding their pet's wellbeing and veterinary care. She offers to put forth extra coverage for her fellow team members, is a mentor to new employees, and continues to represent Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital with her smiling face at the front desk and a friendly voice on the phone.
